kelimitu National Park has an undulating topography of the area from mild to severe with hilly relief to the more mountainous.
Some herbs contained in the National Park include wood eye Flores (Albizia montana), needs (Homalanthus giganteus), tokotaka (Putranjiva roxburghii), Uwi RORA (Ardisia humilis), longgo steel (Drypetes subcubica), store Keo (Cyrtandra sp.) , Deo wood (Trema cannabina), and Kelo (Ficus villosa).
Flores National Park is the habitat of 19 endangered bird species including Flores pigeon (Treron florists), Wallacea owl (Otus silvicola), sweep the jungle-swinging (Rhinomyias oscillans), kancilan Flores (Pachycephala nudigula), junk dwarf (Pericrocotus lansbergei) , tesia Timor (Tesia everetti), opior crested (Lophozosterops dohertyi), opior half thick (Heleia crassirostris), chili gold (Dicaeum annae), kehicap Flores (sacerdotum Monarcha), bird honey Matari (Nectarinia solaris), and Flores eagle (Spizaetus florists).
Of the four species of mammals endemic to this park, which is frequently encountered are two mountain rat Rattus hainaldi.Di Bunomys naso and national parks can be found several animals such as the banteng (Bos javanicus javanicus), barking deer (Muntiacus muntjak nainggolani), mongoose (Pardofelis marmorata) , pangolin (Manis javanica), porcupine (Hystrix brachyura brachyura), and deer (Tragulus javanicus javanicus).
While the marine life around the island and the Cape of Darkness consists of 45 species of corals such as Halimeda macroloba, Chromis spp., Balistes spp., Zebrasoma spp., And Ypsiscarus ovifrons; 32 species of fish such as fish flag (Platax pinnate), fish conscious (Siganus lineatus), and barracuda (Sphyraena jello); 9 types of marine mollusk such as clams south (Tridacna derasa), triton trumpet (Charonia tritonis), and giant clams (Tridacna gigas).
Lake Twu Ata tourists and Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai
Besides having considerable biodiversity value, also has a unique and interesting astetika value that is the presence of three colored lakes and is on top of Mount Flores (1690 meters above sea level). The first named Tiwu Ata Lake Mbupu (lake spirits of the people), the second lake named Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai (Lake spirits of young people) and a third lake called Tiwu Ata Polo (lake spirits of the diviners). The first and second lake is located very close together, while the third lake is located about 1.5 km apart in the West. Water color of the three lakes are different from each other and always changing from time to time, especially water color Tiwu Nuwa Muri (twelve times within a period of twenty-five years). In addition to volcanic activity caused by Flores, color change is suspected due to the refraction of sunlight, the micro-biota, water, the dissolved chemical substances, and due to the reflection color of the walls and foundation funds.
Natural wealth owned by the National Park Flores is supported by the arts and culture in the form of traditional houses, traditional dances and handicrafts woven products that are characteristic of local communities. Manufacture of woven products attracted attention of visitors, because it is based on the art and imagination are very high and different from making other woven products in Indonesia.

How to reach the location: Using the Kupang-Ende aircraft for about 40 minutes or Milky-Ende for about 90 minutes.
